What's Happening in Wynnum?

What's happening in Wynnum? There's nearly more new coffee shops than residents. I was driving through the other morning after a fix at Dramanti and passed a new cafe,  Liquid Sanity at 138 Tingal Road.  We went back in for a visit on Saturday morning around 10.30am. 

This is a nicely placed cafe, visible from the road, freshly painted building, good access, nice Tolix tables & chairs, red lounge, window table and stools, the usual drink and food offerings, really pleasant staff, really weak coffee and no vibe. 

Seriously where were the people? Was everyone still sleeping in Wynnum? I know if this was in West End I'd be queuing for a table.  Hard to put my finger on it but this cafe is just missing that special something. It's got the looks and its nicely positioned but it just wont be pulling me back in again.
